Mahatma Gandhi Ayurved college, Hospital and Research centre, Salod (Hirapur), Wardha is established in 2007.

It is about 80 kms from Nagpur, Maharashtra, India which is the geographic centre of India and placed in near about 19 acre area .

It is located away from the hustle and bustle of the city at the midst serene surroundings in a self-sustaining complex which has all the facilities such as Bank, Post Office, Shopping Complex, Sai Temple, Ultra-modern gymnasium and above all, an excellent academic ambience.

It is very well connected by road, rail and air (via Nagpur) to all the major cities in the country. Nagpur has now become an international airport with direct flights from Dubai, Sharjah and Doha

Lecture halls-The Ayurved College have 6 lecture halls with sitting capacity of 100 in each. All of them are well ventilated with fine installed audio visual aids.


Library

The library is the reflection of the academic standard of the institute. Separate library for Ayurved College is available with the facilities like CD database 136 internet facilities with 10 computer terminals in digital lab.

  • B.A.M.S. (Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery): 4 ½ years degree course and one year compulsory Internship.
  • M.D./M.S.: started in eleven subjects of Ayurveda – Samhita, Dravyaguna, Rachana Sharir, Agadtantra, Kayachikitsa, Panchakarma, Shalyatantra, Rasashastra, Kaumarbhritya, Stri and Prasuti Roga, Shalakya Tantra
  • Ph.D. (Ayurveda): Started in all 14 subjects
  • Certificate courses  In clinical Panchakarma, Reverse Pharmacology, Yoga
  • Fellowship in Ayurved Oncology, Ethnopharmacology, Panchakarma

  • Tablets, Capsules, Syrup, Ointment, Liniments, Granules, Qwath, Chawyanprash, Gulkand, diabetic kadha and more than 184 medicines are prepared in our home  pharmacy.
  • Family card, Maher card facility is available.
  • Kits are available for various diseases like J-kit, Y-kit, CP kit and Swarnaprashana kit.
  • Patient’s Feedback is also considered on OPD and IPD level.
  • Village adaptation programme is also run by university for health purposes of the society.
