Mahatma Gandhi Ayurved College, Hospital & Research Centre, Salod ( H ), Wardha was organizedIntern Induction Program 2022 by Dept. Swasthavrita.The first Alumni guest lecture was delivered by Dr. RutujaSakharkar , Alumni batch- 2010-11 ,Medical officer , MuradgaoPHC,Wardha ,with the theme of ‘National AIDS Control Program’ on the date: 11/1/2022 . Second Alumni guest lecture was delivered by Dr. PravinaSawarkar, Alumni batch- 2008-09 Medical officer ,MuradgaoPHC,Wardha with the theme of ‘Vector Borne Diseases control Programme ’on the date date: 11/1/2022

Mahatma Gandhi Ayurved College, Hospital and ResearchCentre, Salod(H) in association with Alumni Cell DMIMShad organized an online webinar on "Overview of preventive oncology "for all the Alumni of MGACH& RC on 18.02.2022. Webinar was conducted by Dr. Suraj P Rathod ,Assistant Professor Department of Shalyatantra MGACH& RC. Our Guest Speaker was Dr. PawanArgade ,Alumni of2008 Batch and now working as a Manager -Outreach Program National cancer Institute, Nagpur . In his lecture he addressed us about various cancerous situations ,its causes ,pathophysiology ,awareness about cancer which is must in today’s era and much more.The session benefitted 116 UG students.

Mahatma Gandhi Ayurved College, Hospital and ResearchCentre, Salod(H) in association with Alumni Cell DMIMShad organized an online webinar on "Role of Ayurveda in Various Skin Diseases"for all the Alumni of MGACH& RC on 28.03.2022. Webinar was conducted by Dr.MinakshiUrkude,Assistant Professor Department of AgadtantraVyavharAyurvedEvumvidhivaidyaka, MGACH& RC, Salod. Our Guest Speaker was Dr.HimaniTaywade,Alumni of 2009 Batch and now she is well known practitioner in Panchkarma. In his lecture he addressed us about various skin diseases, its causes, pathophysiology, Ayurvedic treatment and prevention which is beneficial in today’s era.The session benefitted to 166 UG students.


MGAC April Alumni activity Report 2022

The Transitional Curriculum Program was organized by Dept. Rachana Shariron 18th April to 5thMay 2022. TheProgram was started with Alumni guest lecture by Dr. Vasudha Umate.She was a student of Batch 2012-13. Lecture was started with the theme of “Approach towards Ayurvedaand Journey in MGAC” on the date: 18 /04/2022. She was shared her experiences in college life and talk about various opportunities in Ayurveda practice. She was felicitated with certificate by Dr. Akshay Pargaokar, Assistant professor in dept. of Dravyaguna,M.G.A.C.H.& R.C. All students were so much happy due to its practical approach towards Ayurveda. All faculties, students and parents expressed the program was very fruitful to update their knowledge.


MGAC Alumni May 2022 Webinar Report

Mahatma Gandhi Ayurved College, Hospital and Research Centre, Salod(H) in association with Alumni Cell DMIMS had organized an online webinar on "cancer awareness” for all the Alumni of MGACH & RC on 20.05.2022. Webinar was conducted by Dr. Akshay S. Pargaonkar Alumni & Assistant Professor Department of Dravyaguna MGACH & RC. Total 55 Alumni were attended the session. Guest Speaker was Dr. Sumaiya Ansari Alumni of Under Graduation 2013-14 Batch serving as RMO at National Cancer Institute, Nagpur. In her lecture she explained about Cancer, its causes, symptoms, types, and principles of treatment and strength of Ayurveda in the management of various cancers, Lifestyle modification according to Ayurveda. Then the session was end on vote of thanks given by Dr. Akshay S. Pargaonkar.

Dr. Niteen Ambatkar , alumni of MGACH& RC ( Batch 2012-13) got felicitated with a Prestigious Award in the field of Ayurveda of Maharashtra state. " GURUVARYA T.M. GOGATE SMRUTI PURASKAR - 2021 " at Samaka Ayurveda , Yavatmal on 14-2-2021,by the auspicious hands of dignitaries in the field of Ayurveda & Spirituality as well, for his constant dedicated work for uplifting Ayurveda as new generation vaidya and for his continued efforts in social activities in spite of difficult time in pandemic.

Webinar Report on Covid 19 Held in MGACH & RC, Salod (H), Wardha by MGAC Alumni Association

Webinar on Covid 19 was organized by MGAC Alumni Association on 13-05-2020 at MGACH & RC, Salod(H), Wardha. The Program was conducted for Intern Batch 2015-16. It was conducted by Dr. Jagruti Chaple, Dr. Rohit Wasekar and Dr. Shanti Maniyala . This is first webinar conducted by MGAC Alumni Association , we are fortunate to get two Alumni guest speaker .The first lecture was started by Dr Kimaya Gandhe ,Community health officer, Wardha. She explained about guidelines and protocol on Covid -19 by Government Health sector .The lecture was continued by Dr. Yogesh Deotale, Medical Officer, Kangao, Wardha . Total 31 Interns were present for online Zoom Video Conference


Report of Tree Plantation Program Held in MGACH & RC, Salod (H), Wardha

The Tree Plantation Program for Alumni Batches was organized byAlumni Association MGAC on 06/08/2019.
The Plantation Program was inaugurated by Dr. Shyam Bhutada, Dean of M.G.A.C.H.& R.C., Dr. Priti Desai, Dean Academics, Dr.  Jagruti Chaple  and Dr. Seema Thakare were the distinguished dignitaries on the dice. The inauguration program was started with Dhanvantari Stavan. Later guests lit the traditional lamp.
Floral welcome of Alumni students   was done by Dr. Rohit Wasekar . Then there was ‘welcome address’ by the Dean Dr. Bhutada. It was followed by inaugural speech .Cutting of forest from human being is a threat to civilization and culture, Weather has changed  significantly .If we want to protect our civilization and culture ,then we must plant more trees. So that we organized the plantation Program for Alumni .
The Plantation Program was conducted in Mahatma Gandhi Ayurved College, Hospital premises. 40 plants were  planted .

The ‘vote of thanks’ was proposed by Organizing secretary  Jagruti Chaple .The program was done under the guidance of Dr. Shyam Bhutada, Dean of M.G.A.C.H.&R.C. for successful organization of this program. They were supported by all the faculty members of the college. The nonteaching staff also rendered their help in this regard.


Alumni Guest Lecture in Clinical Induction Program at MGACH & RC, Salod (H), Wardh

a The Clinical Induction Program was organized by Dept. of Rognidan on 24th August 2019. Program was inaugurated by Hon. Dr A. J. Anjanker ,Registrar DMIMS, Dr Shyam Bhutada Dean MGAC, Dr. V. R. Meghe coordinator MGAC, Dr. Preeti Desai Dean Academics MGAC, were the distinguished dignitaries on the dice. Alumni Guest speaker Dr. Swapnil Talmale, Director Appolo Care Hospital,Nagpur. He was a student of Batch 2007-08. felicitated with shal, shriphal and certificate by Dr. Bhagyashri Choudhary ,M.G.A.C.H.& R.C. Lecture was started with the theme of "Emergencies in General Practices" by guest speaker Dr. Rahul Singh. He explain how to handle emergencies in genral practice in easy and simple way. All students were so much happy due to its practical approach towards emergencies. He was treated so many critical patients. All faculties & students expressed the program was very fruitful to update their knowledge.

Report of MGAC Alumni Meet 2019

All past students of  Batch 2007 MGACwere invited to participate in “MGAC Alumni Meet 2019” on 18th January 2019. More than 22 past students of 2007 batch MGAC representing the batch were reported.
Hon’ble Dean MGAC Dr. Shyam Bhutada, inaugurated the meet in presence of Dean Academics MGAC Dr. Priti Desai , Dr. Vaishali Kuchewar,Vice Dean PG MGAC Salod (H). And Dr.Jagruti Chaple , Secretary,MGAC Alumni Association Salod (H) Wardha Where in the past students express their views and share their experience. Campus round, Tree plantation were the major events celebrated in these one day.

The organizing committee issued a certificate in the form of photograph. All past students gives their feedback about the DMIMS (DU) as follows:

  1. 90% of students choose DMIMS (DU) because of good academic conduct & staff resources.
  2. 95% of students think that academic standard of DMIMS (DU) is excellent
  3. 97% of students express that campus of  DMIMS (DU) improved drastically & now it is excellent.
  4. 95% of students think that discipline in all constituent colleges of DMIMS (DU) is very strict & it is incomparable with other colleges.
  5. 95% of students express that infrastructure of DMIMS (DU) is excellent
  6. 99% of students express that alumni meet should be organized after every year & it should be batch wise.
All past students & the organizing committee is thankful to the management of the trust, authority of DMIMS (DU) and constituent colleges for their blessing and all kind of support render for successful conduction of this program.

Report of Alumni contribution in Health checkup At Nimgao Village 2019

Health checkup camp  was organized by Alumni Association MGAC on 12/10 /2019 at  Nimgao.
The Program was inaugurated by Alumni Dr. Kimaya Gandhe  ,Community Health Officer Wardha , Dr.  Jagruti Chaple  and Dr. Bhushan Maiskar, Dr. Rohit Waskar and Dr. Ashish Nimborkar. The Higher authorities of village were the distinguished dignitaries on the dice. Floral welcome and felicitation of Alumni students  was done by Dr. Jagruti Chaple . It was followed by inaugural speech . The inauguration program was started with Health talk on Dengue, Malaria  and dry day by Dr. Kimaya Gandhe . 80 patient was checked by alumni Students. After that we organized the plantation Program for Alumni at Nimgao because If we want to protect our civilization and culture ,then we must plant more trees.
